There are two ways to install Nuvio on Android Mobile. One is getting it from the Play Store, and the second is sideloading it.

NOTE

The Google Play Store version lacks some features of the APK sideload version to comply with the Play Store's policies. It is recommended that you sideload it.

APK Version

1. Download the APK: Obtain the latest mobile APK from Nuvio's official GitHub.
2. Enable Unknown Sources:
   • Go to Settings > Apps > Install Unknown Apps.
   • Choose your browser or file manager and toggle Allow from this source.
3. Install: Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
4. Initial Launch: Open Nuvio. You may be prompted to grant storage permissions and to allow Nuvio to install unknown apps. This is to allow Nuvio to update itself.

Play Store

1. You can obtain the Official Nuvio Play Store version from here.

Troubleshooting

• Play Protect Warning: Since Nuvio is not on the Play Store, you might see a "Blocked by Play Protect" popup. Tap More details > Install anyway.
• App Not Installed: Ensure you have enough storage space and that you aren't trying to install the Android TV version on a mobile device.
