Profiles

Profiles are one of the core Nuvio features. Here are some Profile features and limitations:

  1. Account Capacity: You can create and manage up to 6 profiles under a single Nuvio account.
  2. Add-on Inheritance vs. Independence: You can set a Primary Profile as your base. When creating additional profiles, you have total control over their sources:
    • Standalone: Opt out of inheritance so each profile runs its own completely separate add-ons and custom catalogs.
    • PIN Protection: Profiles can be individually locked with a custom PIN, ensuring privacy and preventing unauthorized access to specific content or settings. Note, you will be required to enter your PIN every time if you select this option.
  3. Individual Watch Histories: Each profile maintains its own progress, history, and "Continue Watching" queues without interfering with the viewing habits of others.
  4. Per-Profile Trakt Syncing: Link separate Trakt accounts to individual profiles to maintain accurate, user-specific external watch logs.
  5. Profile Cloning: Seamlessly clone add-ons, plugins, and custom collections from one profile to another via the web-based Account Manager.
  6. Cross-Device Sync: Watch progress syncs automatically across all supported devices (Android TV, Android Mobile, etc.).
    • Note that app configurations do not sync across profiles or devices.
